This exquisite oil from Gasan, Marinduque, Philippines comes from an artisanal revival of the traditional craft of harvesting pili tree resin. We source the resin from local pili sap gatherers and steam-distill it in small batches at our own facility. We then carefully separate the essential oil from the hydrosol through fine filtration, yielding a pure Elemi Oil.

Elemi belongs to the same botanical family as Frankincense and Myrrh. In perfumery, it is prized for its bright, fresh, citrus-spicy fragrance with a soft resinous depth. It’s a beautiful aromatic note in fine blends and handcrafted creations.

Suggested Uses of Elemi Oil

      • Create a scented body oil: Dilute Elemi in a carrier oil such as Virgin Coconut Oil to make a lightly scented moisturizing body oil.
